They are consistently visible in the community by actively participating and contributing in several areas of our organization. Board President

Daniel is the Senior Vice President at Rocky Mountain Bank and Trust. He is a Colorado native. Daniel received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration-Finance from Colorado State University. He graduated with honors with his MBA from Regis University. He is involved in several boards and organizations including BethHaven, Christian Business Men’s Coalition, and the Better Business Bureau. He moved to Colorado Springs 11 years ago with his wife Christina, and their four sons, two of whom have special needs. Dan’s goal for all of his children is to live as fulfilling and high-quality lives as possible.

Toni is a commercial lines Account Manager with Leavitt Group of Colorado and has been in various roles within the insurance industry for 20 years. She attended Pikes Peak Community College where she earned a degree in Sociology. Since 1990, Toni has called Colorado home where she has raised two children and like many Coloradans, she enjoys the beautiful outdoors. Toni believes strongly in being the change you want to see.

David is the Business Development Representative and Commercial Card Representative for Bank of the San Juans in El Paso County. He is a Colorado Native originally from the farmlands south of Durango, Colorado. He has worked in the Financial Industry for 8 years, the last 6 with Bank of the San Juans. David received his Bachelors in Business Administration from Regis University, where he met his fiancé during freshman year. They moved to Colorado Springs in May of 2022. In his spare time he enjoys collecting books, hiking the Colorado Trail, and eating whatever his fiancé decides to bake.

Not long after graduation from San Jose State University in San Jose, California Blake joined the U.S. Army to attend Medical School at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed medical school with an MD degree and was commissioned an officer in the U.S. Army. Army service continued for 28 years with stations in Aurora, Colorado, Germany, Hawaii, Maryland, then back to Colorado ending up at Fort Carson. Service also included two tours in Iraq and ended with retirement in 2020. Blake and his wife Christine have 6 grown children.

Ben is a therapeutic foster parent in Colorado Springs for nearly 5 years with another agency. He was owner of a behavioral clinic in St. Francis and prior to this Ben spent time in youth talent development and pediatric exercise physiology, preparing young athletes for the rigors of high level competition. Ben also taught at the Vanguard School for almost 10 years and has a significant amount of experience with children’s programming.

Katie is a Speech-Language Pathologist at KidsCare Home Health. She moved to Colorado in 2019, after earning her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska. Katie specializes in pediatrics but has experience working with children and adults with disabilities in the home, community, and educational settings. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, traveling, hiking, reading, and baking.

Kate is the Director of Communications for the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. She also spent 20 years working in journalism, primarily here in Colorado Springs and has a well-rounded communications background that includes an emphasis on strategy and storytelling. Kate and her husband, Michael, are raising two wonderful children – one who has special needs – and a sweet (albeit needy) red lab.

Amber is a Colorado native and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She has held a variety of positions in many industries and currently working in the fertilizer industry and does medical billing on the side. Amber holds a special place in her heart for individuals with special needs. She has a sister who she is co-guardian of who has Down Syndrome. Some of her interests are live music and concerts, traveling, going to the spa, reading, and playing cards. She is very active in her church and enjoys meeting and connecting with new people.
