SKSF Recognizes National Child Abuse Prevention Month

April 15, 2023, Colorado Springs, CO – During the month of April, Special Kids Special Families (SKSF) recognizes National Child Abuse Prevention Month (NCAPM) and the importance of working together with families to help them thrive and prevent the mistreatment of children. SKSF provides valuable respite programs, advocacy, resources and assistance.  It is their mission to protect child and family wellbeing and to prevent child abuse and neglect. The SKSF Child Placement staff along with other staff members placed blue pinwheels in the front yards of the SKSF Administration offices & surrounding businesses to serve as a reminder of the great childhoods we want for all children.  To learn more about SKSF Foster Care program visit:
