August 2018: Special Kids Special Families is honored to receive a $25,000 grant from Daniels Fund to support our Zach’s Place program. This grant will help support families that need a much needed break from the daily stress of caring for their loved one with a disability. This will impact the lives of everyone in the family unit! Children with disabilities can attend the program and receive specialize care and attention they need while learning new skills, playing games, socializing and participating in indoor and outdoor activities. We are grateful for this boost to help the Zach’s Place program!  The Daniels Fund, established by cable television pioneer Bill Daniels, is a private charitable foundation dedicated to making life better for the people of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming through its grants program, scholarship program, and ethics initiative.  Visit DanielsFund.org to learn more.
