January 2016:  Every year, an annual Tootsie Roll fundraising campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities is conducted by The Knights of Columbus. SKSF is grateful for being the recipient of several donations from various councils over the years to help support our programs for children and adults with disabilities. Since 1968, the Knights of Columbus have raised and donated more than 0 million to programs for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. The Knights of Columbus commitment to hundreds of grassroots programs for people with intellectual and physical disabilities is an expression of their belief in the intrinsic worth of every human being.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the donations and support of the recent Knights of Columbus Charity Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities. With these donations, we are able to improve our programs for children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities and special needs. Through the gracious support of this organization, thousands of “God’s Special Children” will enjoy a better life and allow their parents and care-givers to benefit from needed respite in caring for their loved ones.
