Staci Bills

President, January 2015 – December 2018: Staci is the Southern El Paso County Manager for People’s National Bank in Colorado Springs. Staci has been in the banking business since 1999 and earned the Branch Manager of the Year Award in 2012. Staci has been involved in the Colorado Junior Achievement Program and Fountain Valley 5K for the Fallen.

Staci volunteered with Special Kids Special Families for several years prior to becoming a member of the Board and currently lives in Fountain, CO.

Wanda Bynum

Treasurer, July 2014 – July 2017: Wanda has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, tax, and software consulting. She is a senior manager at BKD, LLP. Wanda is a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

She has serviced as treasurer for Taylor Elementary PTA and is a Member of the Pikes Peak Community College Advisory.

Kira Davis

Secretary, April 2013 – April 2016: Kira received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Adams State College. She later continued her education at the University of Phoenix where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.  A Springs native, Kira is a graduate of Leadership Pikes Peak and she volunteers with Lucky Dog Rescue, and previously has volunteered with Junior Achievement and COS Think.

Kira is a Business Development Representative at BombBomb as well as a member of the Colorado Springs Rising Professionals.

Greg Garrison

Member, September 2015 – September 2018: Greg has lived in Colorado Springs for over 20 years. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Northern Colorado. He later continued his education at Everest University where he obtained a Master’s in Human Resource Management. Greg is a Sales Manager for Academy Bank in Colorado Springs, with over 25 years of Sales Management experience. He has previously volunteered with Junior Achievement and Care & Share.

Greg is a step-parent to a special needs child and recognizes the importance of the organization in Colorado Springs.

Sarah Kelso

Member, April 2014 – April 2017: Sarah is a single parent of two school-aged children and has lived in Colorado Springs for 22 years. Her gifted son was diagnosed with ADHD at five, then Autism at age eight. Both of Sarah’s children receive services from SKSF which allows Sarah to indulge in both her career and service. Sarah has been working in a Quality Assurance role for over 10 years and is currently employed at Wide Open West, an Internet Cable and Phone provider as a Reporting Analyst.

Sarah is a lover of outdoors, and includes her children in cycling, hiking and family oriented community events.

Mike Luginbuhl

Member, April 2014 – April 2017: Mike has over 30 years of aerospace and defense expertise with industry and as an active duty Naval Officer. He provides overall leadership and guidance for multiple programs, directing all program activities as well as new business efforts related to the Colorado Operations business area. Mike had amassed over 4500 flight hours as a Naval Aviator.

Mike and his wife Donna have lived in Colorado Springs since 1997.

Joyce Morgan

Member, June 2015 – June 2018: Joyce has been an active volunteer in the community, donating her time to the Pioneers Museum, United Way and Leadership Pikes Peak, as well as other nonprofits. She holds a bachelor’s degree in American Civilization and a master’s degree in education, both from the University of Pennsylvania.  Joyce has an extensive background in education and training.

Joyce and her husband moved to Colorado Springs in 1998.

Dan Reilly 

Member, April 2014 – April 2017: Dan has been actively involved in helping non-profits, with involvement with Amblicab and Boy Scouts. Dan has been an officer with the Air Force, commanding squadrons and had worked directly with the Pentagon during 9/11. He has started is own business, CMIT Solutions, providing technology solutions and consulting services.

Dan and his family have lived in Colorado Springs for over 20 years.

Linda Ellegard

SKSF, Executive Director: Linda has been the Director of the organization since 2000. Under her oversight, the organization has grown to include three locations and many significant programs to support individuals with special needs and their families throughout the individual’s lifespan.

Before serving as the Executive Director at SKSF, Linda was an area Director for a local agency and for a local Foster Care Program.  Linda received her BSW from the University of North Dakota and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling, with over 25 years of experience in the Human Services Field. Linda has served on the Special Education Advisory Board.

As a single mother of a special needs son, who passed away at the age of 15, Linda is passionate about helping other families who are raising children with disabilities.
