PROGRAMS & SERVICES
Children & Family Services
The SKSF Child and Family Services Program is in itself an umbrella for several direct service and care options supporting the children and caregivers of children with disabilities, including Zach’s Place Program at The Laurie Hillyard Family Center, Sibshops, Koscove Kids and The Network. The programs include advocacy as well as parent education.
Capital Campaign: Help Us Bridge The Gap
SKSF is in the midst of a Capital Campaign to raise funds to purchase the current facility for the Zach’s Place Program at the Laurie Hillyard Family Center and create a permanent home for the program. Owning the building and keeping overhead costs low is an important facet of our long-term financial stability, which will help us provide respite care for years to come.
Please consider being a part of our effort either by making a contribution, participating in an event or joining our committee to lend your expertise.
More than 22,000 hours of respite care is provided daily through Zach’s Place program and family caregivers.
Placement stability for children in our Foster Care program is 8.5% which is well below the national average of 15.9%.
150+ adults with disabilities join in meaningful life experiences each day in Adult Services
